Here we will show, how to create a Create User (User Onboarding) Service for the au2mator Self Service Portal.

Create the Service

For this Service, we will need the Runbook 04.05-User Onboarding

So Navigate to the au2mator Self Service Portal and create a new Service.

We called it “New User” with a nice Description and a Icon.

If you like you can add an Approval Step, in this case we navigate to the “ADVANCED” Tab and enter some Instructions.

Next, and of course the important step, chose your Runbook  04.05-User Onboarding

So Navigate to the au2mator Self Service Portal and create a new Service.

We called it “Request a Software” with a nice Description and a Icon

In this Service, we want to have an Approval Step, so navigate to “APPROVER”

We have decided to let the Manager approve, of course you can change this to your needs.

For this Service, we will need the Runbook 04.02-Reboot Server

So Navigate to the au2mator Self Service Portal and create a new Service.

We called it “Reboot a Server” with a nice Description and a Icon

If you like you can add an Approval Step, in this case we navigate to the “ADVANCED” Tab and enter some Instructions.

Next, and of course the important step, chose your Runbook  04.02-Reboot Server

As this Runbook is having only one, custom, Initialize Data, we need to configure only one Question.

We decided to use an LDAP Query and show it as a Prepopulated Table, feel free to change.

Save the Service and let’s try it.
