Multiple SCO Instances
- As we support multiple Azure Automation Instances, we also support multiple SCO Instances.
Performance Select
- We enhanced performance for Start a Request.

- we added some more properties for the au2matorhook, so we are near GoLive

BUG

New Initialize Data
- We continue our Journey to a single Initialize Data and bring “au2matorhook” to the Automation Engines.
Performance Select
- As we learned, every Environment is a bit different. You can select how to calculate the Service and Service Groups for the End Users.

Visual Changes
- We rearranged the Admin Page to make it clearer where the Settings are. That might not be the final touch here
Dropdown standard Value
- a highly requested Feature has arrived, you can now select a standard value for the Dropdown Question Type
Azure Automation 7.2 compatibility
- We changed the Azure Automation Engine and are now transferring the Values in string format.

- We experience some delays when we switch between pages
Service Group Images are not visible
- The Service Group Icons are not shown in Start a Request Page.
Question Type has wrong Description
- The Header to select a Question Type, show wrong Text
SQL Question type, wrong Header
- If you configure a SQL Question type, and click in VIEW, the Header of the Popup is wrong
Wrong Order for dynamic Background Settings
- “Value to use” and “Linked Question” should have a different order when working with Dynamic Background Text

Why the Change?

No Increase Since 2018
Believe it or not, it’s been six years since we last adjusted our prices! 🕰️ During this time, we’ve kept our rates steady while continuously enhancing our product to serve you better.
Product Improvements
Our team has been working hard, implementing new features, improving user experience, and ensuring top-notch security. These upgrades come with their own set of costs, and we want to ensure we can continue delivering the best possible product for you. 🚀
General Cost Increases
As much as we’d love to keep prices the same forever, the reality is that general costs have risen over the years. Everything has its price tag, from development to support, and we need to adjust accordingly to maintain our high standards. 💸

au2mator – Self Service Portal 5 released

au2mator is happy to release Version 5.

This is not one of our typical Releases. This was our biggest Release in the past nine years.

Not cause we added so many features because we did a new design and some significant technical Changes under the hood.

For this, we wrote some Notes we would like you to read.

Test before Production

Yes, this Release took us longer than planned, but we wanted to provide a smooth migration and a good start with 5. x Experience.

We spent countless hours testing, but as you might know, things you cannot be prepared for can happen in IT.

We recommend you test this Release before going into Production. We have written a KB article to help you prepare a test installation.

au2mator 5.0 preview

We are very excited to publish au2mator 5.0 soon.

We spent much time rethinking and redesigning the complete solution and bringing it to the next step.

Also, we made some changes under the hood to be prepared for what’s coming next and make it even more reliable for you to use.

We heard your feedback and took it seriously to improve our next generation of au2mator Self-Service Portal.

We also made some decisions on Features, and we do not want to support any more related to deprecation or unusual integration.

So here is a preview of the Feature we will remove in 5.0

Notes
- With Announcements, you can communicate with your End Users. Notes have always been very complicated, so we removed Notes from 5.0
SMA
- Microsft does not put any effort into SMA, so we removed it from our supported Automation Engines. With PowerShell, Azure Automation, and System Center Orchestrator, you have plenty of ways to automate your Things. And Maybe we will add some others soon.
Services
- We will remove the advanced Services beyond the User Profile.
